AV SLH GRAND PREMIER, MALE - MR D REDFELDT ( 12 present):
Grand PC:
A most wonderful fellow now coming up to four years of age. I have always liked and admired him. Today he looked so stunning. At the moment he is in full coat. As he is absolutely huge, it is something to see a full sparkling white double coat with a full shirtfront & very full knickerbockers. All of this with not one stain to be found. I could not get over how breathtaking he looked. ! Wonderful strong head of the breed. Long triangular shape to the head & wonderful type and expression. Ears nicely set and beautifully feathered. Would like the ears a size or 2 taller for perfection. Very beautiful mid green eyes with the correct oblique setting. Long very straight profile to the nose. Muzzle narrows down so nicely and shows no squareness. A straight level bite & a firm chin. Huge sturdy body of rectangular shape. Thick tree trunk legs & large tufted paws. Long very bushy tail to balance the body. Presented to absolute perfection. Came out of his double pen & stood filling up the trolley. My steward and I were both bowled over. Won in a huge very strong class, where there were many worthy contenders.
Reserve GPC: Pr Feorag Cuchulainn - Chocolate Somali 63b - 1.1.99
I thought he might be my winner until we came to the last exhibit and were knocked of our feet by the bolt of white lightning. !
Open Neuter Male - Judge - Mrs V Kilby
1st out of 3 & PC, BOB out of 4:
Impressive lad. Substantial body with sturdy limbs, full bushy tail just a fraction short. Lovely masculine head of triangular proportions. Ears well set. Good profile line, good strong chin. Well shaped eyes in an oblique setting. Lovely full coat & ruff. Good top coat and presentation.
1st out of 13 - AV SLH Radius Neuter - Mrs D Butters:
What a stunner, he sat there in his pen saying "Just look at me aren't I wonderful ?" & today he was right. Everything about him said Norwegian Forest Cat. Wonderful triangular head with large ears set high on the head, alert and certainly listening to everything we had to say. Excellent long straight profile, strong chin. Green eyes, large & obliquely set. Fabulous body size and substance with tremendous boning, huge legs and feet. He was already sporting his full winter coat (it must be colder in the North West) & he was groomed to within an inch of his life. It was quite late in the day when we got to him & he wasn't too appreciative of us disturbing his afternoon nap but he allowed us to get a good look. a gorgeous boy, whom I could easily have taken home.

Head of very good proportions with very good lines to wedge. Profile just a fraction angular for perfection. Chin line just a little shallow. Excellent strongly built body. Excellent legs. This cat shows himself so very well and stands so tall on the table. Superb tail. Excellent coat length and texture. excellent plume & ear tufts. A grand chap I have always admired.
